| El 30 de agosto Nele Verhulst dio la introducción al simposio de plataformas y argumentó que es importante potenciar el campo mexicano a través de la innovación y la tecnología. Después, Simon Fonteyne, coordinador de plataformas, dio inicio al evento explicando las funciones de una plataforma de investigación, así como el programa del día. Se continuó con la presentación de los resultados y el impacto de cuatro plataformas de investigación en el norte y centro del país: Plataforma Mixquiahuala, Hidalgo, a través del responsable científico Jaime Ortega Bernal (Biosuva) Plataforma Ahome, Sinaloa, con Heriberto Lizardi (AARFS) Plataforma Indaparapeo, Michoacán, con el ingeniero Helios Escobedo (Red_InnovAC) Plataforma Pénjamo, Guanajuato, por medio del técnico MasAgro Guanajuato Paul García. |
